Если с целью уменьшения боли, отражаемой из миофасциальных триггерных точек, расположенных в нижней части трапециевидной мышцы, используется горячее влажное укутывание, тепло нужно прикладывать к средней части спины, где располагаются миофасциальные триггерные точки, а не только к надлопаточной области и на уровне шеи, где ощущается боль. Пациент не должен ложиться на подушку; ее следует класть на спину больного, находящегося в положении ничком.
