They were interrupted by the Templar, who came running down into the courtyard. He had been up on the castle walls, paying close attention to the advance of the outlaws towards the castle.

"I see that we have been taken to the castle of Front-de-Boeuf," said Ivanhoe. "How can I protect Rowena and my father now?"
