The servant took the letter from Isaac (слуга взял письмо у Исаака) and gave it to the Grand Master (и отдал его великому магистру).

"Prior Aymer to Brian de Bois-Guilbert," read the servant. "I am a prisoner in the hands of some lawless and godless men. From them I have heard of Front-de-Boeuf's death and of your own escape to Templestowe together with that Jewish witch, whose beautiful eyes have cast a spell on you.

"I am happy to hear that you are safe (я счастлив слышать, что вы в безопасности), but warn you that the Grand Master is on his way to England (но предупреждаю вас, что великий магистр едет в Англию: «в пути в Англию»; to warn — предупреждать, предостерегать; извещать) to interfere with your plans (чтобы вмешаться в ваши планы; to interfere — вмешиваться; повлиять /на исход чего-либо/).
