Чингис-хан в устном и письменном наследии монголов

О Чингис-хане в монгольском фольклоре и письменной традиции известно немало. Накопленный материал позволяет сделать некоторые обобщения.

Культ Чингис-хана и отражение его в монгольском фольклоре.

Культ Чингис-хана в Монголии давно привлек внимание ученых [Жуковская 1982]. Существует бесчисленное множество преданий о географических местностях, связанных с именем Чингис-хана. По всей Монголии разбросаны горы, долины, реки и озера, где, согласно легендам, стояли котел, трон, наковальня Чингис-хана, были расположены юрта, очаг, привязь для его коней, где он забыл свое седло, одежду, где появилась его печать, где его конь оставил отпечаток своего копыта и т. д. Вот самые типичные из них.
