I was in my prayer time one morning when suddenly a song popped in my head. Now this is not an unusual occurrence, there is always music going on in my head. It was the song that surprised me a little, "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover". Remember that one - "jump out the back Jack, make a new plan Stan, no need to be coy Roy..." Well, something like that. Yes, I started singing it until it occurred to me that I was praying. As I returned back to prayer I heard it clearly, "50 Ways to Beat the Devil". Meditating on this revelation, I began writing down thoughts and I was off to a good start. It became clear what God wanted me to say in this little book. I couldn't believe the strategies He, so simply, unveiled to me. They are all taken directly from the Bible. This book has some words that will serve as reminders and some that will bring a fresh perspective. I found myself having to stop and say "no more, I only need fifty!" So carry these 50 Ways to Beat the Devil around with you. Get a boost from it on your lunch break or when it seems like the kids are from different parents! Get it engrained in your head that the devil does not get to rule you or run you - he doesn't win. Give it to friends or loved ones who may struggle in their faith fight. Send it in a care package to your college student or your loved one in the military. Gift it at Christmas time or as a birthday gift. Keep one on your desk, in your car, in the bathroom! Let it be a constant reminder that you have many tools for use in taking authority over demonic situations. I know this book will inspire you to study your Bible even more and develop your own prayers and confessions. Remember, it is full of tools and weapons. And no, this book does not contain every strategy - just 50 of them. 50 good ones!
