Journalist Yuan Morales resorts to taking the law in his own hands when police fail to arrest the gangsters who murdered his son in a random initiation killing in Detroit, Michigan. With little or no experience with weapons or martial arts, Yuan convinces his mother and a group of victims of violent crimes to help him secure revenge against the gang that murdered his son. Things take a turn toward the unexpected when a detective not only encourages but supports these ordinary vigilantes with money, weapons and police intelligence.
