When a local boy is killed in the Vietnam War, a memorial was created to honor his sacrifice. Years later, the memorial faces removal and demolition. A high school boy sets out to discover the identity of this unknown soldier. After meeting and befriending the soldier's father, Eddie, the high school boy plans to interfere with the proposed demolition.
