Dan Joyce is a mentally ill man who is harassed legally and socially causing him to fight for his rights in the 12 step program. The War of the Soul is a story of a religious fanatic who fights a spiritual war with his world, in particular, a bullish rival he calls, the Other. It contains over 200 ink wash illustrations, all 150 psalms of the bible and 150 accompanying poems that tell the story.
