Given this context, Criminal Minds used its first season to set itself apart from the crowd. MEET THE AUTHOR Charles Limley is a native of Colorado. After earning bachelors degrees in both English Literature and Humanities from the University of ColoradoBoulder, he entered the world of professional writing. Penelope Garcia Garcia, played by Kirsten Vangsness, is the teams most flamboyant and colorful personality. She wears her individuality literally on her sleeve, as she consistently sports loud, unique, and playful clothing styles and colored hair. She works as the teams Computer Technician and is a computer hacking aficionado. Throughout every episode, the team repeatedly calls Garcia with questions and requests for information. Garcias ability to use computers and the Internet to obtain critical data almost always provides the most important information needed to identify, locate, and arrest suspects...
