Following the premature death of my 25 year old daughter Ailbhe and the ensuing coroner's determination at the inquest into cause of death-"Death by MEDICAL MISADVENTURE". I felt obliged to put something in writing as a memento of Ailbhe's life - a concise factual linear record of Ailbhe's 25 years with us was my intent. The poem Denouement written by Ailbhe's sister Aidn included on the last page, encapsulates our journey through the shock, disbelief anger, guilt, loss, sadness to an eventual reluctant acceptance.
