When someone in a family is diagnosed with a life threatening disease, like Kidney Failure, it will have an impact on everyone in the family. This is my personal experience when my partner was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure. Nobody can prepare you for the changes it brings. A kidney transplant was the only option to save his life. Everyone in the family went through different emotions. Dealing with a serious disease in a family is difficult, stressful and with it comes life changes.
