When Shane Crawford was eight years old, he wrote down, 'When I grow up I want to win a Brownlow medal'. He played footy and every sport he could all through school, and made sure he could run faster and longer than everyone else. When he was 18, he was drafted to Hawthorn footy club. After playing for seven years, he won the Brownlow Medal he'd always wanted. Then, in his 305th and last game, Hawthorn won a premiership. This is Shane's story, for kids, about giving everything your best shot and making your dreams come true. It's full of funny stories, good advice, and handy tips for getting the most out of yourself.
