Tough New York cop Dave Isandro, badly betrayed by his live-in lover, hands in his badge and hits the bottle. Soon reaching rock bottom, he's found and helped to dry out by a former partner, who now works for a large, private security organisation with strong links to the US Government. Recruited by the organisation, Dave is given an important role in a secret mission for the US Air Force. He soon suspects he's being lined up to take the fall for a scam, and tries to get out. From that moment he, and a teenage boy he's saved from the scam, are in mortal danger. The boy is the son of a suspected billionaire drug dealer, targeted by the organisation. Death and carnage follow as they flee across the States, pursued not only by the most ruthless agency in America, but soon, framed for murder, by the police as well. Dave finds a way to save the boy, but is still in very real danger himself. He realises that only the US Senate has the power to save himif he can survive long enough to plead his case.
