Bandera County is savaged by drought. The cattle country of Texas is about to explode into a range war. The beautiful but precocious cattlewoman Bailey McShane believes she is being swindled for her precious bounty of water. The all-powerful Bandera County Cattleman's association seems the likely culprit but Zack Rawlins, the Association's young but prodigious president, has decided to get to the bottom of this well of deception.
